The Board of Directors' purpose is the general governance of the organization. This includes making sure the organization stays on task to its mission and vision, assisting in setting goals, giving counsel in areas of expertise, voting on the budget and other major decisions, and promoting the organization with potential partners and donors.
Each board Member is expected to:
Attend meetings (6x per year), including the annual Board Retreat
Advocate for the organization within circles of influence — personal, business, faith, civic, etc.
Attend organization events and fundraisers as possible, including the annual Gala
Connect the organization with potential donors
Make a personally meaningful contribution.
Join our Emerging Leaders Council
For mission-driven 18- 35-year-olds, the purpose of the Council is to advance the mission of Andrée Collective by engaging emerging professionals in relationship-building, networking, event planning, fundraising support, volunteerism, community engagement, and leadership development. The ELC will:
Create meaningful opportunities for young and emerging professionals to connect with one another and with Andrée Collective.
Host social, networking, professional, and mission-focused events that strengthen relationships and awareness.
Introduce new supporters, volunteers, donors, advocates, and community partners to Andrée Collective.
Support approved fundraising, volunteer, event, and outreach initiatives of Andrée Collective.
Provide members with opportunities to develop leadership skills and assume meaningful responsibility.
Create a long-term pathway for members to deepen their involvement with Andrée Collective, including potential future Board service.

How you will leverage your skill-set:
● Manage social media channels with on-brand messaging, content, and simple graphics
● Assist with marketing campaign strategy and execution
● Write and/or edit content for email communications and social media to ensure consistency with the organization’s mission and focus
● Assist Event Planner in marketing and planning events
Skills you will need to be successful:
● Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
● Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
● Excellent time management, organization, and ability to prioritize effectively
● Prior experience or coursework in marketing or communications is a plus.
This role will be a volunteer (unpaid), part-time hybrid internship position, and at an average of 4-8 hours per week.
